Hello,

Just my personal experience. Almost 21 years ago when my oldest was born, she did not have a bath until the next day before we went home. This was at a free standing birthing center in California. They did not see the need to do it any sooner. As a matter of fact, the nurse had placed the baby bath tub on my bed and sat on the bed with and my husband and I as she bathed Gabbie. My other three children were born at home, and I do not remember when we got around to bathing them for the first time. :)

Kind Regards,
Gloria Thai,
Va, USA
