An article you might like is "Evidence in infants with cleft palate that breast milk
protects against otitis media"  PEDIATRICS Vol   94   No.6  Dec 94 pg. 853-860.  I know
someone in my area who pumped milk for her cleft palate baby about 9 mo.  She is
finishing her CLE homework & is specializing in helping moms who have cleft lip/palate
