Hi Lacmothers and others,
At our breastfeeding council meeting I heard an inspiring story.
Mom contracted chicken pox mid pregnancy compicated by bacterial
pneumonia,some wierdo very resistant organism,septicemia, meningitis. 800
gram twins delivered at 26 weeks.
The babies were transferred to the university hospital 200 miles away and
are still very unstable. Mom more stable now but still has chest tubes in
and wants to pump! It is the ONLY thing she CAN do for her babies at this
point! It is the only way she has to mother them.
How about mothers day prayers for the family.
