I had sent a letter to women's health .gov regarding the latch photo on page 13 of the Breastfeeding Guide.

I received a reply today which stated:

"Thank you for your feedback. We always welcome suggestions to our materials and website!

We have received a lot of feedback on this particular photo and plan to update it when the breastfeeding guides receive their next update, probably in 2012."

So - progress is made, slow but steady...
