Use 2-3 drops of breastmilk!  Think of it as a readily available "saline"
drops if you wish. And it sure beats having to check the expiration date on
a bottle of saline!  You don't even need to suction then.  It will help it
all come forward anyway where a loving tissue swipe will be all that's needed.

I've also used a few drops of breastmilk with my older child (now 6) who
likes to stuff things in his ears.  It dissolves wads of toilet paper
fairly quickly and a little lap holding with the "wet" ear down sends it on
its way out!  :)

It unsticks matted lashes well too.
