I knew one mother of twins who found that when she nursed both at the same
time, she  felt as  if she was "plunging into a black hole of depression"
(her description).  She was able to nurse each individually without that
feeling.  She did have a history of mild depression, but nothing like that
double nursing feeling.
Maybe worth a try to see what it feels like if the twin mom was to pump on
one side at a time??
