I missed the first post to this (saw it in the INbox
before I lost a bunch of them including this one). I
am currently nursing a 27 month old and to this day I
get nauseous every time I BF. It's not bad now but it
was quite bad for the first few months. I had morning
sickness my entire pregnancy and it lasted for 3 weeks
post partum.

I found that drinking ginger tea or powdered ginger
dissolved in hot water or peppermint tea really helped
to calm my stomach. I also found that, like with
morning sickness, the BFing nausea was worse on an
empty stomach so I got into the habit of keeping ginger
water in a thermos and crackers handy at my nursing
station so that I could nibble while nursing. The
nausea subsided somewhat around six months - to the
point of being present but not feeling like I was
goingto vomit - but has never gone away.
