Even though there are very good obstetricians without a uterus, it is
up to the mother's preference to have him guide her through a delivery
and in that same way there could be and are very good IBCLCs without
the proper equipment to speak from personal exerience ;)
That said I think that most moms would probably prefer to speak to
someone who "has been there"
But.... Imagine a world in which all pediatricians were also IBCLC!!!!
Good goal I would say!
