To all,
 I am new at Lactation, working in a border county hospital with about 98% hispanic population. Mom's want to do both breast and bottle feed formula, "Los Dos". Don't get me started!!! Very high no prenatal care, high risk population, most of my time is spent giving mom's information on how their bodies produce milk and that they don't have to give formula if there is not any medical indication!  Did you know that WIC has 3 packages Breastfeeding exclusive, Breast and Bottle and Bottle!!!so you can't blame some of these women for choosing "Los Dos". Some of you can relate I am sure. But that is not my question.  
I have seen different information on how many diapers of stools and voids a baby should have for the first week of life.
I use WIC publications, we bought some diaper diary log sheets from Noodle Soup the one that shows the color changes per day of life and Your Guide to Breastfeeding  from the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of Women's Health.
I can't find their  resource!,  am I making a big  deal out of nothing? Please share with me what you are  using as your references or guidelines for counting stools and voids, like for establishing policies and or discharge instructions. 
 You can respond privately if you like. 
Since I am new at this, I like to have references, I use Riordan as my main source. 
I need your help and guidance as the new kid on the block! lol
