Hi! I am a hospital based LC who needs information for my boss. I have always used Hale since I have worked in lactation. It is what I was taught. What I need to know is - How did Hale become the accepted authority? I can present credentials, information, etc., but she wants to know how was Medications and Mother's Milk decided to be acceptable to use. I know this may be a bizarre question, but this is what I have to work with. In her opinion, very few textbooks are acceptable to use. Thanks in advance.

Adrienne
