Just a quick anecdotal comment about seldane. It seems that in some people
prolonged seldane use can cause symptoms similiar to chronic fatigue. I have
a good friend who thought she had cf, and dramatically changed her life
style because of it. No one ever mentioned to her it could be the seldane, but
she suspected it. Finally went off it and her energy returned. She told her
cf support group and 3 other women who were also on seldane went off it and
their symptoms went away. She now lists seldane as a drug allergy, and
usually the doctor/nurse practitioner will ask her why and she'll tell her
cf story. Then they'll say, oh, I bet that's going on with so and so. . .
It might be useful to watch for cf symptoms in folks on seldane.
