Once I have read an answer by a religious leader ( I assume I remember correctly) to a question what the mother should do the baby's father is against breastfeeding.  The answer was that the mother is allowed to breastfeed because the pain is hers.  I have been searching for the source right and left with no luck.  Can anybody help identifying the source or religion ( I suspect Judaism, but not sure).
