When resorting to a nipple shield, I tend to use the large shield . Most of
the time the infant has difficulty with larger nipples, and the large shield
helps get the large nipple further into the oral cavity. The smaller one can
be handy with smaller nipples or with smaller babies. It really helps to have
a choice. Sometimes I wish there were even more choices.
