The myth or Romulus and Remus fed by a wolf (more precisely by a she-wolf)
is certainly a myth. The latin word for she-wolf is "lupa", and lupa was
also the term used in latin for a female prostitute. It much more probable
that the babies were breastfed by a prostitute with a tender heart than by a
she-wolf.
