Have you checked the pump flanges for appropriate fit? I've recently become
aware of a similar situation with a lady who used several different pumps
(because she didn't think she needed an electric pump). Her nipples became
damaged by one of them, and she kept on using it. All the while I was
thinking she was using a different pump because that's the one she was using
when we saw her. Eventually she DID rent an electric pump and got the larger
size flanges and now her nipples are healing nicely. With the use of
hydrogels and APNO. Didn't need to happen.....but it did.
