Just wanted to shout that my daughter had a beautiful home water birth with baby #2.  We didn't know for a few minutes if he was a girl or boy!  Then I shouted out...oh, my gosh what is it?  Emmett William MacDonald entered the world peacefully with the help of Daddy and 2 Midwives on August 5, Friday, at 8AM.  7pounds, 11 oz and 20 inches long.  He nursed shortly after and didn't have his first bath until August 7th!  Big sister Scarlett Ann turns 2 next Friday, the 12th of August.  She woke just as mommy was pushing, I ran across the house, grabbed her and by the time we got back to the tub, baby was here!  That was my first "tub" and home birth experience.  It was gorgeous!  But he was a little purple too long for me! Makes a hospital nurse a little nervous!  Scarlett was a Birth Center Birth and I thought that was absolutely fantastic!

Couldn't have been more perfect, a World Breastfeeding Week Grandbaby!
