Note that the producer, Sandra Aiken, spoke with me on the phone for almost
an hour, and I overnight-mailed her copies of my research.  So she *KNEW*
very well that 2.5 to 7.0 years is the ONLY research-based estimate of the
duration of normal breastfeeding available.  She also knew very well that I
said there was no evidence either way of the emotional consequences of
breastfeeding a child longer than two years.  It was her choice to report it
the way she did, saying something along the lines of "While there isn't any
research to show that it is harmful . . . . "
