the Washington DC CBS affiliate just ran the Johns Hopkins piece: mother with
two kids, an older one that she Bfx9mo, younger she plans to BF even longer,
she talked about benefits and challenges, Hopkins coordinator talked about
benefits, supply and demand, how to recognize adequate intake/status, AAP
recommendations. news reporter then gave an outline: 3-4 days after birth
10-12 fdgs/d, 6 wt diapers, 3 bowel movements (she said "3 little bowel
movements" instead of at least three), hear swallows, ......call MD or Board
Certified lactation consultant......, for more info www.wusatv9.com and click

Wasn't perfect but very good. I already called the Medical news producer to
thank her for her hard work and conscientious news producing, she plans to run
a similar piece after the CH episode, during the 11pm news.
