Babe 4 months old 14 lbs and thriving.
Exclusively breastfed.
Sleeps from 8pm to 6am.
MD has instructed mother to wake the baby at least once through the night as
otherwise 'infant's blood sugars will get too low'

I'm no expert on blood sugar either, Rhoda, but to me it's the doctor's
instructions that are silly!

Would he/she have told the mother to do this a) if the baby was getting
complementary foods or b) if the baby was formula fed?

I doubt it!
