  i did not hear the chat... but i can tell you that to date with many
hundreds of thousands ounces of banked milk there has not been a case of
transmission of hiv.

  i personally would like a very close look at the data referred to in the
times article as it runs counter to all that we have known to date,,,

   hiv+ mothers transmit to thier babies prior to breastfeeding... the
instances of DOCUMENTABLE transmission through breastmilk have occured when
the mother is highly viremic... either right after she herself has become
infected or at the later stages of infection at which time she is extremely
ill.
