Dear Lactnetters:

Gary and Anne Marie Ezzo are coming to my home town, Cincinnati, Ohio, for two
conferences about the "Growing Kids God's Way" (GKGW) programs. The target
audience for one conference is instructors who teach GKGW and the other is for
parents.

Any suggestions for how we can provide an alternate point of view to the
conference attendees? Should we picket or pass out information at the
conference site ( a local church)?

To introduce myself, I am a lurker of over one year. I have supported
breastfeeding families for 17 years, as a La Leche League Leader and IBCLC.
I am most proud to have coordinated the effort at my hospital to be certified
as Baby Friendly (Franciscan Hospital- Mt. Airy Campus). It was a long,
difficult process; but once you accomplish the whole package it makes your
work as a lactation consultant so much easier!

My home has an over abundance of testosterone from the three males in my
family-
my husband, Ron
my 18 year old son, Matt, and
my 15 year old son Mark.

My husband got a great 46th birthday present last week when his customized car
was pictured in a Mustang magazine.

I always learn something from Lactnet and it is a source of support since I am
the only lactation consultant on staff at my hospital. Please respond to my
questions through the digest or to me at [log in to unmask] as you deem
appropriate.

Robin Egbert, MEd, IBCLC
