Re the pediatrician wanting to cut back bf and intro solids on the "obese" bf
baby:
Unfortunately, I don't have references, but the posts so far have been not to
interfere with the baby - likely he will slim down later.  I agree.  There
were a number of posts in the past on this same topic, check the archives -
they may turn up something with references.  I also agree with getting
another pedi opinion or changing to another doctor.  Remember, this baby is
only 4 mos old and if this family is uncomfortable with this doctor's
management (rightly so IMO), better to change to one they are comfortable
with and trust, because this will be really important for other developmental
concerns and when/if baby gets truly sick in future.  IMHO.
