Some thougths on this difficult situation

What were the sensitivities of the Group B strep organism that was cultured? Sometimes the lst generation antibiotics are more potent agains organism like strep. If it is sensitive to Penicillin and Ampicillin these antibiotics would work better than Keflex (which is prrimarilly for STaph).

Also, The occurrances of mastitis seem to be occuring around vacations and holidays. When irregular feedings are likely to occur. I'm sure you have addressed this, but does she have an oversupply problem in that breast? Has she tried lecithin (for clogging of the ducts). I have not been keeping up with lacnet and you may have discussed this.
