Hi all! Long time since my last post; since then I have passed the exam
(see my alphabet at end of this post) and started classes toward my RN!
Yeah ... enough about me.

One of my fellow WIC clinic staffers today was told by a pregnant mom that
she couldn't nurse her baby because she has "crusty nipple syndrome." I
looked in the archives and the closest I came to it was reference to crusty
nipples and keratin build-up. Anyone actually heard of such a condition?

I will also be following up and making sure this mother wasn't referring to
"rusty pipe syndrome" which, to the best of my current level of
understanding, is just blood in the already living fluid that is human milk.

Thank you all for just existing!
