Thanks to Lorri Centineo I found the info I was looking for in the BAB page
190 and 191. The original piece from the web site says:
<<"You may pump directly into milk that has been stored at room temperature
as long as you DO SO WITHIN 10 HOURS."

The information in the BAB does not say that the milk can sit for 10 hours.
It says: "If the previously expressed milk was stored between 66 and 72
degrees Fahrenheit (19 to 22 degrees C), TOTAL STORAGE TIME should not exceed
10 hours from the time first milk was expressed. If the previously expressed
milk was stored at 79 degrees Fahrenheit (25 degrees C), TOTAL STORAGE TIME
should not exceed 4 to 6 hours from the time first milk was expressed."
Emphysis added.
I take "total storage time" in the BAB to mean how long you can keep the milk
at any temperature before it has to be given to the baby or tossed. Am I
correct in that assumption? If so the information from that web site is
incorrect and misleading.
I wanted to let you all know just in case this comes up in your practice.
