Some time ago, I mentioned a study of sleep and babies that I share with my
prenatal clients as a "reality sheet" for them in what to expect of their
real babies (not the doll-ones or the imaginary ones they dream about).

I finally dug out the original reference. Here it is:

Hilston CR: An informal sleep survey. MOTHERING Magazine, Spring 1985; pp.98-99.

Hope this helps all those of you who asked for it and sorry it took me so
long to unearth the original citation.

Def. of LC service: "We are all faced with a series of great opportunities
brilliantly disguised as impossible situations."
