If the mother is open, you can share this info w/ her. An aquaintance of mine got Bell's Palsy as a side effect of Lyme Disease. It was cured quite readily with acupuncture. I later found out that integrated PT (includes training in CST) is also very effective at treating Bells' Palsy.
