Someone sent me a copy of this article by I/O mail. Related to mastitis & contamination of pump parts. Neither bleach water nor microwave baggie killed this gram-negative bacillus. Recommended washing at 80 C to kill it. Risk factors listed in the article. A 1987 study of 12 pumps found this and other organisms contaminating pump parts, so it isn't just the First Years pump that is the focus of this new article.
