From Diane Graybeal,

A few days ago a new pediatrician in town (we are growing like crazy) told
one of my mothers that he couldn't believe that she was still reastfeeding
at one year. He said "Don't you know that breastmilk turns into water at
one year? It still looks white but it has no nutrients in it at all, it is
just basically water."

This is hilarious and another "absurd breastfeeding advice" example. I have
been collecting these absurdities from Lactnet for about a year and plan to
put them together in a little booklet, just for comic relief. (I will get
permissions from each of you before I print it.) If any of you have any
other good ones, post it here or either email me privately. The list is
quite long now and REALLY amusing.
