I finally got to see photos of the two covers in an English newspaper>
Having seen the pictures I am totally shocked that there was so much debate
about them & that anyone could possibly think the breastfeeding picture
offensive. In this country where nudity on screen or even screen kisses are
censored I don't think anyone would find that picture offensive. A designer
dress shop here has a huge poster of a breastfeeding mother as one of their
adverts & that certainly reveals far more than this cover ( it is of course
not a Malaysian advert & I don't think they could show it in a rural area).
However, I am surprised that in a country where nudity & sex are freely
portrayed on screen members of the public find such a beautiful & natural
site offensive.
