Interesting statistic on number of NYC births in 2002:  228,007.  The city
needs a lot of LC's, LLLL etc. to help this population.  Very sad that the
Elizabeth Seton Center closed.  Hopefully, the proposed replacement will be
in place.

Queens reported 48,388 births in 2002 out of New York City's total of
228,007 with 18,572 abortions.
