  it is important to remember that ALL mother's do what they believe is the
best for thier children.

  information adn research changes constantly. cultural knowledge also
changes..though more slowly.

   your mother, as with many, worked with the information available to her.
it was believed that abm was as good if not better than and ceritanly not
suceptable to some of the detrimental effects that breast milk was.

   i think that we need to tred very lightly. they did the best that they
could with the information they had available. you will do the best that you
can with the information available to you.. the information has changed. the
desire to do the best is the same. by the time our children have children i
am sure that there will be much that they will shake thier head and ask: "
how could they buy into that" of us.
