the biggest problem i seem to have with my night shift staff & even a couple
of the day staff is their big argument is that the mom said she'll "do both
breast & bottle". i always teel them & it is in the updated policy that there
are to be no bottles in the cribs of bf babies what so ever & low & behold what
do i usually find?  I feel it is very suggestive.
my question is how do i make them discuss to mom not to do both - they won't
even explain about sealing the gut over; they look for me to talk to mom.
i already have had 2 in-services & wrote 2 nurses up since dec. when i took
this position.
