Dear Beth, welcome to you, as an aspiring lactation professional,... you are
more than welcome on this list. I realize that sometimes, people post for
personal reasons, disguising it as "for a client." I appreciate your honesty
when you said that you were asking for advice for a personal issue. However,
since our guidelines clearly state that this list is not for personal
assistance, it was important to make this guideline clear. No offense
intended, just keeping the list on track. I realize you were hoping to get
input from the many good minds on this list, (the best minds in the
business, all 3000+ of them)! but unfortunately, this is not within the
guidelines of the list, that are outlined in the initial note we all get
when we join. I apologize for the confusion.

The situation with Tom Hale and the accompanying notes have been dealt with.
I agree with you, and thank you for bringing this up. The entire situation
was very offensive. I have been in touch with Tom, and the situation is
settled. The details will not be broadcast to the list, but you can rest
assured that it is taken care of. I posted to you privately about your
situation in a note, giving you some of my thoughts. I hope this has helped.
Please feel free to email me privately, and thank you for your
understanding.

And again, it's worth taking this opportunity to assert that there is no
connection between Tom Hale Phd Rph, Pharmasoft Medical Publishing, and any
other corporation here or anywhere else in the world. That assertion was
incorrect, and not founded in truth.

Best regards, and glad to clarify. Kathleen
