I am new to LACTNET, so I'm a little nervous. I am a LLL leader from Georgia
- although this submission has little to do with LLL. I am collecting
information in order to write a book which is essentially a rebuttal to
another book (about schedule feeding) that is gaining in popularity at least
here in the South. I realize that I cannot mention this book or the author
by name, but I know I am not the only LLL leader or Lactation Consultant for
whom this program has caused problems. The main shortcoming of the book (in
my opinion) - other than that it is wrong on several points and not
particularly friendly to babies- is that it was very poorly researched and
referenced. So my book must contain a bibliography that is above reproach.
Anyone interested in working on this with me or contributing research
findings please contact me at: [log in to unmask]
