Hi All,

Jennifer writes:

" My answer is--see if you can indeed fix the palate. I never assune that a
high palate is NOT caused by traums from birth. "

Jaye responds - actually this baby's palate is not high. It is a totally
normal palate - nice gentle arch - what we would like to see with all
babies...it just goes on and on and on in the back. I wish I could draw a
picture of it - but imagine after the arch where it slopes down to meet the
soft palate, where you expect to have the juncture of the soft/hard palate,
there isn't any - you have an extra 1/2 inch or more of hard palate. Do you
feel that this may be able to be fixed? I know someone I can refer to to
evaluate this - but I am not sure we can shorten the palate in that manner.
But it is a great idea to look into it!

Warmly,
Jaye
