Dear Friends,

A mother has asked me how she can protect her nine-month-old breastfed
baby from influenza more effectively: if she gets vaccination now to
prevent getting the flu or if she gets the flu.
I understand that her body produces antibodies against the virus that
the baby can get through her milk both ways... But the question is:
which is more effective in protecting the baby? (Or is it a silly
question???)

Thanks in advance.
