The New York City Dept of Health and Mental Hygiene's latest effort under their "Take Care NY" initiative is not to be missed.? They devoted an entire issue of the "City Health Information" to breastfeeding, and in particular, to the?onus on care providers?to "walk the talk."??They apparently sent it to?ALL physicians, irrespective of specialty!!?? You can check it out at the publications section at http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/downloads/pdf/chi/chi27-3.pdf. What a great idea for other public health departments of large cities or states to duplicate. The document is referenced and provides CME credit for physicians.
