Just a quickie ....as I've been rock climbing in Lake Placid and my
arms are just fried.....
I followed up twice with the mother of the baby who just wouldn't
eat. Taking all the suggestions (from all of you , thanks again)
...reflux...etc, we worked throught them and presented a list of
further ideas to the babes Dr., who was more than willing to try
anything. Baby checked out perfectly. (never mind that a baby
that won't eat is clearly not perfect!). I , sadly daunted, fell
back on the only thing left to me. I ran the shower in the
bathroom, to make the room warm and steamy....lit candles, turned out
the lights and sent mom and baby in for a "love in". Eureka!
After about 20 min, (we had to add more water) babe nursed for a few
minutes......not a raving sucess! but something. Mom continued to
supplement with EBM, using a dropper with the baby held up on her
shoulder. 4 days later....mom and babe are nursing more and more.
Baby still gets worked up, and does like to nurse with both of them
naked....but progress it is and I for one am glad of it!

gleefully yours (I didn't think I could fix this one!)
