I' ve read the article. Too (too,too) bad they did not include the statistical analysis of the intention to treat. Its purpose is to analyze the data as if all subjects did exactly what they were supposed to do, instead of a good 30-40% doing exactly the contrary. Given this big problem of compliance, I don't think we can get any clear conclusion out of it.
