Barb was a wonderful, caring and intelligent woman. We were graced that she
was instrumental in establishing bfdg in Yale New Haven's NICU and was willing
to share her knowledge with the rest of us. She was quick to respond to my
inquiries and was always available to speak with moms during transition home
with their premature babies.

She was a frequent speaker at area LLL of Ct conferences and was always
well received. Barb always offered up the latest research in an easily
understandable format. Who remembers her great 'cup feeding' video?

Ellen (the other one), you are correct; she was one of the first that LLL of Ct
honored with our Health Professionals Award. Remember how humble and truly
honored she felt? We didn't get to see her blush often!

Barb re-certed on July 30; it was great to see her and we had a nice chat
during break time. I never would have imagined that just three weeks later she
would be gone. I knew her for 25 years and will always miss her smile and
laughter. Rest in peace my dear friend.
