Thanks to those who responded to my complex query on a plugged duct and hep
c. The MD in charge of the NICU tells mothers that the risk of passing hep
c through the breastmilk is minimal but there is no proof that the baby
WON'T get it either. If you were the inner city undereducated mother of a
sick premie who knew very little about breastfeeding and your MD said that,
what would you do? That is why the mother chose not the BF....
