The Red Book says that Lyme disease is not transmitted via breastmilk. I
would imagine that the spirochetes are too large to get thru.

Ps: My sample of 2 - My granddaughter had Lyme disease at 6 mo. I spotted
the bull's eye on the back of her pudgy lttle leg. Her mom had Lymes
disease during another baby's BF. No one has any hint of ADD or ADHD, altho
their dad (my son) did have learning disabilities. I had rubella in the 8th
mo of my pregnancy :-( Pat in SNJ
