You are so right, the early days are now "water under the bridge" and I did
not mean to "beat a dead horse." I really make a point of referring to those
issues because many new or aspiring bf supporters read lactnet. Glad to hear
mom is bf unrestrictedly, as that will do the most good, and to re-iterate
the bottom line from my post "The later weights seem fine, in my opinion, as
long as mother is keeping baby very close, not limiting time at breast, and
not using pacifiers. Also I think breast compression could help things
along. I think the signs are good that the baby will continue to do well, "
