Hi everyone,
I know we have had some discussing previous about how Depo Provera
increases milk production. I have a person I am counseling that is
considering taking the Depo to increase her milk production. I know that
this is a nice side effect but does anyone know if this actually
increases milk enough to be a qualified reason to take the drug? I know
she has tried the domperidone which has helped her supply but she still
lacks a "full" supply. I am interested in this greatly as I myself also
lack much of a supply in feeding my adopted child.
I know that this is reported to increase milk supply but does anyone know
how much? Are there any reports concerning amounts of milk vs. just
increasing supply?
Anyway, I look forward to your information and discussion.
JP
