Hi! I am wondering if anyone knows if there are any dairy products that
are less likely to cause problems in babies than others. I know there are
people who can't tolerate fresh milk, but can eat yogurt and eat cheese,
because the proteins in the milk have been altered by the bacteria and/or
rennet added to them. What about butter? Any thoughts?

Hi all,
Thought, based on n of 1 ( my firstborn): butter was never a problem for
him. His issues manifest as fluid in the ears, ear pain/infection/inner ear
inflammation, skin changes ( allergic shiners under the eyes), and/or
temporary hearing loss with dairy. Never had an issue with butter, maybe because
true butter is fat, not protein. There are many things called butter these
days which my family of dairy farmers would not call real butter due to
call the additives ( soy, other oils, etc), so that might factor in. Butter
was ok even when a hint of dairy in a bread product wasn't.

Thought for the day...:)
