I think it would be a wonderful addition to the literature to do a study
(and image collection) of mammograms of longterm breastfeeders. I'm
personally concerned about this: I have been nursing and/or pregnant for 17
years. I have a strong family history of breast cancer, but no one but me
has had more than 2 children (I have 7) or breastfed more than 6 months. At
42, I'm entering that screening age. I would love to be able to know my
doctor knew how to differentiate "normal wear and tear" <LOL> from
precancerous changes! Any Ph.D. students out there that need a project?
