Dear Lesley from Australia,

You may want to read Dr. James McKenna's work on co-sleeping and SIDS. A good
start is chapter 10 in Breastfeeding: Biocultural Perspectives, edited by
Stuart-Macadam and Dettwyler and published by Aldine de Gruyter (1996). This
chapter contains an extensive bibliographic list of McKenna's work on sleep.
