I have a mom that is having a scheduled repeat c-section on Friday ( she will be 38 6/7 weeks!) She had great problems breastfeeding her first two children ( inverted nipples, milk didn't come in until day 4-5, first baby had wound from vacuum that needed a wound nurse, baby was tongue tied, baby was given formula in the hospital,... )She is trying to avoid formula and nurse successfully with this baby. She is not on any restrictions although her OB doesn't want her to use shells or supple cups before delivery. I suggested she hand express and store her colostrum. Do you see any contraindications to this? Where do you buy those small bullets to store small amounts of colostrum?
Thank you in advance.
