Rob,

I am so happy you are willing to support that mom! My children actively
nursed through many immunizations - usually pulled off and cried for a second
or two and then latched on again for vigorous comforting. I would be very
suprised by a bite - it seems an opened mouth is the first response to pain.
BTW, my son at 15 months needed a blood draw (venipuncture). Two nurses came
in ready to pin him to the table and I requested that I just hold and nurse
him during the process. He held out his arm and barely flinched - it was much
less traumatic for everyone!
